Detailed features V5.0 and roadmap V6.n

Objectives

The goals of the Popsell programme are:

  • Commerce: Increase Aquisition + Conversion + Loyalty

  • Customer Experience: Making the Customer Experience Premium

  • Sales Teams: Leveraging teams and enhancing their impact

The platform has been entirely designed to be:

  • Omnichannel: Digital + tailored for Store and Phygital sales

  • Long-term: Based on the concepts of Direct Selling to build a close, long-term relationship

  • AI powered: Monitoring, co-pilots, AI agents

Components

The Popsell platform is made up of three different components:

  1. Popsell App: A complete Web App dedicated to vendors and Brand ambassadors (Progressive Web App), to manage content creation and conversations.

  2. Popsell Manager: a Web platform dedicated to Brand administrators to monitor activity using dashboards, and to configure and manage the programme.

  3. Widgets: Web components to be embedded into the Brand e-commerce platform.

Since V5.0, the Popsell App can no longer be configured as a Social Commerce platform including basket and purchase tunnel. These features are deprecated in V5.0 and replaced by a combination of e-commerce widgets and the standard purchase tunnel.

Since V5.0, the native iOS App is deprecated. This App was mandatory to enable Push notifications on iOS devices.
Push Notifications have been made available by Apple through Progressive Web Apps since the iOS release in March 2023.

Scenarios

3 types of implementation are addressed by the platform, depending on which functionalities are activated. The platform covers 3 typical scenarios :

  • Retail and e-commerce,

  • Direct Selling

    • In V5.0 and V6.0, all CRM and emailing campaign scenarios are deprecated.

  • Social Commerce

    • Implemented in V6.0 exclusively through widgets embedded in the e-commerce Web site.

On iOS, the App must be installed as a Progressive Web App.
On Android, the Push notifications can be activated from the Progressive Web App or directly from the Browser

The Popsell App can be installed as a Progressive Web App, both on iOS and Android devices.

iOS dedicated App in deprecated since V5.0

TBD:

  • Automatic installation of an Apple Wallet card.
    This allows to send Push Notifications on iOS devices.
  • Android Push Notifications can be sent from the browser or from the Progressive Web App, as on version 4.8 and 5.0
