Data Engineer : 1 permanent position in Lille
Popsell has an open position for a Data Engineer to join its Technical team on a permanent basis starting in January 2023
Popsell is a startup founded in 2013, based in Lille, France, which markets a SAAS Social Commerce platform for large French and international Retail companies. Popsell has Thom Group as shareholder since June 2021 with the ambition to accelerate its development and become a leader in Social Commerce. Popsell is strengthening its teams to support its growth and new projects.
Popsell offers a position of Data Engineer, who will be integrated within the technical team composed of 6 engineers, passionate and caring!
The candidate will have overall responsibility for the data managed by the Popsell platform:
Databases (SQL Azure), improvement and optimisation of data models,
Building and feeding the data warehouse and data marts (Azure Data Factory),
Specification and implementation of dashboards (Power BI), integration of dashboards within the platform's back office (Power BI embedded)
Implementation of a Web Analytics data gathering and reporting solution
Knowledge of these technologies is not a prerequisite. The position is opened preferably to experienced candidates, but junior candidates will be accompanied both by the Popsell tech team and by the Data engineers of the IT company currently in charge of the BI platform.
The candidate must be autonomous, proactive, curious, passionate about data, motivated to progress and capable of immersing him/herself in a technically complex environment.
His role will also be close to that of the Data Analyst: he will also be in relation with the Marketing teams of our customers, in order to understand and analyze their business needs, and to implement them on the Popsell platform.
If the candidate has an interest in development, he/she can also participate in the integration of components within the Back Office (Power BI embedded, SQL, Lumen, Vue.js)
The members of the technical team are usually present 2 days per week in the offices of Popsell, located 34 boulevard Carnot in Lille. The other days can be done either on site or remotely.

Popsell propose un poste de Data Engineer, qui sera intégré au sein de l'équipe technique composée de 6 ingénieurs, passionnés et bienveillants !
Le candidat aura la responsabilité globale de l’infrastructure liée aux données gérées par la plateforme Popsell :
Bases de données (SQL Azure), évolution / optimisation des modèles de données,
Construction et alimentation du data warehouse et des data-marts (Azure Data Factory),
Spécifications et mise en oeuvre des dashboards (Power BI), intégration des dashboards dans le back office de la plateforme (Power BI embedded)
Mise en oeuvre d’une solution de collecte et de restitution des données de Web Analytics
La connaissance de ces technologies n’est pas un prérequis. Le poste est ouvert de préférence à des candidats expérimentés, mais les candidats plus juniors pourront être accompagnés à la fois par l'équipe technique de Popsell, ainsi que par les ingénieurs Data de l’ESN actuellement en charge de la plateforme décisionnelle.
Le candidat devra être autonome, force de proposition, curieux, passionné par la data, motivé pour progresser et capable de s’immerger dans un environnement techniquement complexe.
Son rôle pourra aussi s’approcher de celui du Data Analyst : il sera aussi au contact des équipes Marketing de nos clients, afin de comprendre et analyser leurs besoins métiers, et les mettre en oeuvre sur la plateforme Popsell.
Si le candidat a une appétence pour le développement, il pourra aussi participer à l’intégration des composants au sein du Back Office (Power BI embedded, SQL, Lumen, Vue.js)
Les membres de l'équipe technique sont habituellement présents 2 jours par semaine dans les locaux de Popsell, situés 34 boulevard Carnot à Lille. Les autres jours peuvent se faire au choix sur site ou à distance.
